TikTok Shops: Sell products directly on TikTok

NOTE: TikTok Shop currently only available for US-based TikTok creators, and only accepts products that ship within 2 days of the order being placed.

New admin bar: Making it easier to manage your site

You can now manage your Fourthwall shop simply by visiting it with our new admin bar! When you visit your shop while logged in as an admin, you’ll now see a bar on the bottom that lets you skip past the coming soon page, jump to the site designer if you want to edit the page you’re viewing, and more!

Membership upselling: Offering shop supporters a free month of membership

You can now promote your memberships to your shop customers! The new memberships upselling feature lets you offer shop supporters a free month of membership with their shop order, which is a great way to not only reward people for buying from your shop but also grow your memberships.

Helping you choose the right printing technique: introducing our new recommended system

Fourthwall supports multiple print techniques, from direct-to-garment (DTG) to direct-to-film (DTFx) to screen printing and sublimation. But when it comes to picking the right technique for your art, there’s no single answer – it depends on what product you’re using, the colors in your artwork, and other factors.

To make life easier and less confusing for creators who might not know the nuances of each technique, we’re no longer forcing creators to choose a specific technique and instead have made the default technique “Printed.” When you choose “Printed,” we’ll automatically select the best printing technique for you based on your fabric weight and color, artwork size and colors, among other factors.

That said, if you know which technique you like the best, you can still easily make that choice by clicking “Change” in the top right and selecting a specific technique.

Membership video player improvements: Automated closed captions, previews on timeline hover, and background playback

We made some huge improvements to the memberships video player, including automated closed captions (subtitles), previews that make it easier to skip to the part of the video you’re looking for, and background playback for people who need to do something else while watching or listening to post!

Vimeo and Streamable video embeds for membership posts

If you want to host a members-only livestream, you can do so via Vimeo and Streamable embeds for membership posts! We’ve got more plans for livestream support over the coming year, so stay tuned. This support also works for Vimeo and Streamable videos that aren’t livestreams!

Supporters can now change their shipping address

Have you ever ordered something only to notice you put in the wrong shipping address? Most of the time, it’s a huge pain to get the error correct, where you either have to cancel and reorder or email customer support and hope they change it for you before it ships. To solve this, we’ve given your supporters the ability to change their shipping address (provided the shipping cost is the same or less) for at least one hour after they place an order.

Making it easier to control your email notifications

As we grow and add more features, the number of email notifications we send has been increasing. To give you more control over the emails you receive from Fourthwall, we’ve improved our notifications center and added a “Manage notifications” link at the bottom of emails you receive from Fourthwall.

Art templates direct upload (knitted products to start)

Designing products where the entire surface is customizable, like our new knitwear, can be difficult in our design tool — especially if you’re trying to achieve something intricate. To simplify things, we’re launching product templates that can be downloaded in the designer, customized in professional tools like Illustrator and Photoshop, and then uploaded directly. This is only available for knitwear, but we plan to support this on all complex products.

A new look and location for our apps

As we launch more and more apps (we have big plans for 2024), we decided it made sense to refresh the look of the apps page to make it easier to browse. We’ve also seen that most people are now using one or two apps, so we’ve moved the location of the tab from being inside the Settings tab to being available on the main navigation.

New beehiiv app

We launched new beehiiv app! Beehiiv is a fast-growing newsletter management platform, and our new app makes it easy for you to sync emails you gather on your Fourthwall site to your beehiiv newsletter.
